We at Glasses Online offer a complete selection of fixed sunglasses tints for a variety of purposes. If you do not have a prescription, don’t worry – we offer tinted lenses without prescriptions as well.
Dark tints
It is recommended that you use dark tinted lenses to protect your eyes from strong sunlight. In addition to filtering out 75% of light, our dark tints are 100% UVA/B protected. In addition to dark tints, we also offer grey, green, and brown tints. As a result of these hues, objects will appear natural when viewed through them.
Lenses with a brown tint are particularly beneficial for heightening the contrast between blues and greens, such as grass and sky. As a result of the grey tint, the brightness is reduced while preserving 100% of the colour recognition capability, and the green tinted lens improves contrast while maintaining the colour balance of the eye.
Gradient tints
It is common to see gradient tints that are dark at the top of the lens and fade gradually towards the bottom. Driving with them is particularly useful since the dark top protects the wearer from the bright sunlight.
The clear bottom of the car instrument panel makes it easier to read the instrumentation in darker conditions beneath the window line. There are two different colors of graduated tinted lenses available: brown and grey.
Polarised
The polarized lenses are equipped with a laminated filter that prevents horizontal glare. As a result, they are particularly effective at reducing the glare caused by reflected light from water, such as water on a wet road or the sea.
Using polarized lenses will increase contrast and reduce eye strain, thus enhancing the viewing experience. The disadvantage of polarized lenses is that they can complicate the reading of LCD screens, and they cannot be used with semi-rimless or rimless frames due to the possibility of delamination. As a result of our polarised lenses, 85% of the light is blocked and 100% of UVA and UVB rays are eliminated.
